New COVID-19 resource page

COVID-19 is posing a challenge to CRVS systems worldwide, as public health professionals are reliant on accurate and timely mortality data in order to develop effective responses.  

“Understanding the true impact of the virus is proving a challenge, which highlights the critical importance of effective CRVS systems in public health responses and planning,” said Alan Lopez, Director of Bloomberg Philanthropies Data for Health at the University of Melbourne.  

The University of Melbourne Data for Health initiative has created a “Responding to COVID-19” page, which will act as an up-to-date repository for all University of Melbourne Data for Health guides, tools and resources relating to COVID-19.
