CRVS process mapping
Introduction
For countries moving towards system re-engineering including new interventions, process maps can be used to document the evolution of the design of the different processes using logs of the history of changes over time and of the system performance associated with those changes.
Such maps would, in the same tool, include both the macro view (for policy makers responsible for vision and strategy across the system), and the micro view (for implementers who need the details of stakeholders, responsibilities and activities). Maps could also improve compliance with standards and regulation, since process maps are a simple, visual, concise representation of the activities and stakeholders involved in a process.
